Custom Incentives
Custom Incentives are determined based on the estimated
amount of electrical energy and peak demand savings. They are calculated as
follows:

$100/peak kW saved (see Peak Hours),
and
q
$0.03/annual kWh savings
Examples of Custom measures include, but are not limited
to:
q
Economizers
q
High intensity discharge (HID) efficiency improvements
q
Variable speed drives (VSDs) on motors
q
Controls (other than occupancy sensors funded under prescriptive
program)
q
Day lighting
q
Solar water heating in place of electric water heating
q
Thermal energy storage
q
Building envelope improvements
q
Any retrofit that can verifiably reduce peak demand and/or energy
consumption.
Please note: Prescriptive measures may not be
included in a Sure Bet Custom Application.
