Pre-Notification
Pre-Notification is required for Prescriptive and Custom incentives
over $7,500. However, Pre-Notification is
strongly encouraged for all projects in order to pre-approve incentive levels
and to reserve funds for up to 90 days. Upon approval of a
Pre-Notification
Application, the
proposed measures must be installed within 90 days. In addition, once
pre-approved, the customer must commit to the proposed measures within 30 days.
Funds will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Committed funds are
not transferable to other projects and/or customers. Pre-notification
reservations of funds will terminate on December 1, 2004.
Please note that for Custom measures, pre-notification is
encouraged to ensure agreement on savings and incentives. Without
Pre-Notification, KEMA, Inc. may establish baseline conditions that are
different than those claimed by the applicant.
Also note that once a Pre-Notification Application is
submitted, project work must not start for a period of 14 days in order to allow
the KEMA, Inc. Team time to complete the necessary application review and
inspection work necessary for project approval.
